I'm at Northeastern University...one of my professors is apparently going to be on CNN later on tonight to talk about this. (Jack Levin, a renowned Criminologist.) I don't know anyone at Virginia Tech. I don't know anyone that knows anyone that goes there...but it doesn't fucking matter man. This shit could happen at any campus, any school, anywhere, and we've gotta rise above this shit and stick together. I know that there are other people on here that feel the same way, so leave a message or something in condolences of the 33 people that died (yes, even the shooter) at Virginia Tech.--Demonseed 23:14, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Sympathy - in the most visceral sense. Although we cannot really know what you are feeling, we ache beside you, aware that there is little we can do to help. It is impossible to make sense of violence. Find each other. Talk. Hold on. From Chapel Hill, so very close in so many ways and still a world away from Blacksburg tonight, I send my deepest sorrow for the losses and greatest hope for the survivors at Virginia Tech.
Our thoughts are with you.
- Those that we have lost are the greatest teachers of us all. They've taught us that we can remember, and that we can love, but ultimately, that we can feel such sadness. Never forget the first two. - The Lake Effect 03:48, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- There's really nothing to say that hasn't already been said. But reach out. You should reach out. If we can prevent Cho Seung-Huis from becoming killers, we can prevent massacres like this from happening in the future. To the families affected by this horrible tragedy, may you find solace and comfort somewhere in your lives. We grieve with you. --Kudzu 07:02, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
