The Besnard Lakes Are the Dark Horse is the only studio album of significance released so far from The Besnard Lakes. While it sounds a lot like Pink Floyd, Roger Waters's transformation into Olga Goreas and continuing abuse of mind-altering substances have clearly influenced the group's sound on Are the Dark Horse, which is admittedly much better (and more destructive to the brain) than Pink Floyd's final album, The Dragon at the Door of Good Night. For the first time, it sounds as though Pink Floyd actually made the right choice in continuing after The Final Cut, which was obviously intended to be their final cut.

Oh, and it's kind of depressing and hypnotic, so don't be surprised if you end up killing your mother in your sleep after listening to it on repeat a few times.
