Stephen's Letters To Jack Kingston
is just one of the many gifts the Dr. Stephen T. Colbert, D.F.A.
has bestowed upon all of humankind. Thank you Dr. Colbert, thank you.

Writing a letter to Jack Kingston is something Stephen Colbert does every Thursday.

It is not known how Doris Kearns Goodwin will feel about Stephen's letter-writing. Or how many historians will fight over them.

December 14, 2006Edit

Dear Congressman Jack Kingston,

Well, I learned a lot about myself this week.

I've learned that saying 'ching-chong' over and over again is not speaking real Chinese. Gotta throw a 'chang' in there every once in a while.

And I convinced Seattle to put Christmas Trees back in their airport. I guess you could say I spruced the place up! Now I just have to get that living nativity scene on the runway.

And I got to Better Know a crop of new congressmen, bringing the number of districts I've Better Known up to 51. (Don't worry, sir. You were my first- I'll always Better Know you best.)

Well, that's about it. Stay strong Captain Jack!

Yours always,

Stephen Colbert
