A slippery slope is any slope such that the mass of an object on the slope, m, times the acceleration due to gravity, g, times the static coefficient of friction, \mu_s, times the cosine of the angle of the incline with respect to gravity, \theta, is less than the mass of the object, m, times gravitational acceleration, g, times the sine of the angle of the incline, \theta. That is:

 \mu_s m g cos \theta < m g sin \theta

For this reason, gun control laws lead to anarchy and bear attacks, and homosexual marriage leads to polygamous bestiality and terrorism.
