In June of 2010 Michael J. Fox appeared on the Colbert Report to announce that he was changing his name to Michael J. MSNBC because he he was tired of being in the closet as a Quaker liberal Canadian high school drop out who read and understood Heidegger and that by adopting a name that reflected his true inclinations and views he felt he could better do the work that he was called to do, educating Americans about the shaking foundations of Being.
