Rev. Jim Wallis is the only significant evangelical preacher who will let Democrats talk to him. He wrote a book called God's Politics: Why the Right Gets it Wrong and the Left Doesn't Get It which doesn't actually have any text other than the long title. But the book was enough to get him onto a bunch of interview shows where he talked about stuff that has nothing to do with the real issues embraced by the Greatest President Ever.
Wallis even gave the Democrats' radio address "response" to POTUS in December after the 2006 Elections. He claimed to be speaking as a Christian, but he said stuff that disagreed with George W. Bush, which means that he can't be loved by the Baby Jesus, no matter how many Bible verses he quotes.
Wallis goes around saying things that are meant to confuse Real Americans. He actually spouts off Bible verses to say that the Baby Jesus doesn't care that much about gay marriage, but does care more about Hillary-issues like "poverty" and "social justice."
Wallis tries to claim that he's more than just a shill for the Democrats by saying that he does all kinds of "Good Works" through Sojourners, his mission conveniently located in Washington, DC. But Martin Luther told non-Popish Christians a long time ago that only faith matters and good works won't cut it. Wallis ignores this and won't even talk much about Armageddon and other things that Godly Republican preachers like James Dobson,
Ted Haggard, and Pat Robertson say are important to the Baby Jesus and POTUS.
