Honduras is a little country in Central America, most notable for its banana exports, for being the site of a number of CIA-led coups, and for their national sport of attacking neighbouring El Salvador.
Honduras in the NewsEdit
Recently, Honduras has been in the news because of a fresh military coup (surprise!) where President Manuel Zelaya was removed by his own troops at gunpoint and exported to neighbouring Costa Rica for the purpose of exilation. It gets complicated at this point, because both Zelaya and his US-Sponsored replacement claim to be the rightful president, and the army is currently supporting the plant. This all revolves around some foolishness about the CIA stuffing ballot boxes prior to a referendum on whether Zelaya can ask the people if they want him to modify the constitution to say he can run for a second term as president, but only if the people want him to.
Now, a number of leaders and allies of Hugo Chavez, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton included, are calling for Honduras to respect Zelaya's mandate, at least until the next elections in November. This would mark the first time that the United States has ever agreed with Venezuela, and is surely a sign of the impending apocalypse.
