The main word used to describe Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report in the early episodes was grippy. It first appeared in the debut October 17, 2005 opening credits. This changed in early 2006 to Megamerican then to Lincolnish. After the show's 2 week break before November's election coverage in 2006, it was changed again by Jimmy after doing too much weed to Superstantial.
