Gordon Johndroe is Special Assistant to the President - the spokesman for the National Security Council. Some say he's the Tony Snow of the NSC. He helps the Jesusless reporters understand why the NSC is the best judge of enemy combatants held at Guantanamo Bay.
He began serving President Bush as soon as he took office in January 2001 and has been serving ever since. This probably means the Greatest President appointed him, but his White House bio doesn't say for sure. Karl Rove may have appointed him.
