Maria von Trapp, step-daughter of Austrian Baron Georg von Trapp, plays a guitar and sings in front of her former home, Villa Trapp, Salzburg, Austria, 24 July, 2008.
Behind 93-year old Maria are unidentified children in traditional dress.
She is staying in the house for the first time since her family fled the Nazi regime for the United States in late 1938. The original Villa Trapp will be reopened as a hotel.
All three of the von Trapp children are still alive; Maria is one of two surviving step-children (there were 7).
