Three unidentified U.S. Coast Guard crewmen walk across frozen Lake Erie as they attempt to reach about 100 fishermen near Crane Creek State Park, Oak Harbor, Ohio, 7 February, 2009.

An ice floe several miles wide broke away from Lake Erie's shoreline, trapping more than 100 fishermen, some for as long as four hours. One person fell into the water and later died.
