Barry Bonds reacts after hitting his 756th career home run against the Washington Nationals in San Francisco, August 7, 2007.
Washington's Mike Bacsik threw an 84 mph pitch with one out and a full count in the 5th innning that Bonds hit 435 feet into deep right-center to break Hank Aaron's 33-year record.
The ball was caught by Matt Murphy of New York who was whisked to a secure room. Mr. Murphy was wearing a Mets jersey and his face was bloodied, no explanation was provided for either oddity.
