Summary Edit

A screengrab of Aung San Suu Kyi, leader of Burma's National League for Democracy, arriving on the third day of trial at Insein Prison, Yangon, Myanmar, 20 May, 2009.

Myanmar's junta allowed diplomats and media to observe the trial. Suu Kyi was just thirteen days away from the end of her detainment when a stupid fucking American swam across a lake and broke into the compound. It was for this incident that Suu Kyi was arrested and faces up to five more years imprisonment[1].
