A short and brutish comic about a boy named John Calvin and his stuffed tiger, Thomas Hobbes created by fancy-pants "artist" Bill Watterson. The comic is about their every day life and how Calvin's imagination brings Hobbes to life and causes all sorts of mischief.
Calvin and Hobbes is a parody of young Stephen Colbert's bear hunting youth. The liberal media downsized Stephen's tiger buddy into a stuffed animal. The real Hobbes eats bears for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He and Stephen are still good friend often hunting bears together on weekends.
