Truthiness is the fundamental policy of Wikiality.com. All articles must support what the right people believe to be truthy. Think tanks, professors, bloggers, critics, conservatives, liberals, religious leaders, politicians, and your mom are not necessarily good sources of truthiness. Only the wikiality of Stephen Colbert provides truthiness.

But not any old thing is truthy. Randomness isn't truthy. Raving lunacy isn't truthy. A crazy person might feel in his gut that "bears are man's best friend," or "blabbity blah blah zippity dooba." But then, that might be because the crazy person swallowed a stapler before the orderlies could get it away from him and he doesn't know what his gut is telling him.

Similarly, truthiness isn't factiness. While some facts are better than others, editors should make sure that the "facts" in their articles do not get in the way of its truthiness. Please use your "gut feelings" when editing. Do not let the common hindrances of logic, evidence, and other thinking skills get in the way of The Stephen Colbert Experience.

From time to time, someone comes upon this site and doesn't realize that the Wikiality.com tubes work to circulate satire throughout this internets site. Sometimes those people make untruthy edits heavily reliant on an untruthy philosophy, or worst of all, not satire. This is the greatest sin against all things truthy.
