An Open Letter to Patrick Leahy, from Karl Rove

Dear Mr. Leahy;

I believe the esteemed Vice President has already told you how this administration feels about your
"questions" for Mr. Gonzales.

But, due to your insistence in this regard, we have compiled this exhaustive list of reasons why we
do not have to answer to you or your little club.

1. the President will exercise his Executive Privilege
2. everyone who works for the government serves at the pleasure of the President
3. if we take oaths to answer your questions, the terrorists win
4. you never said "pretty please"

And it is for these reasons, I cannot respond to your partisan show trial, simply to satisfy your efforts
to make me and The Greatest President Ever look bad.
