While being a fan of Star Trek is OK, a sad minority of fans have been driven mad by the superiority of Star Wars.
These sad pathetic individuals are a collective proto-cult known as Trekkies.

In 2009 a man in Colorado Springs used a sword modeled after the weapon carried by Klingons to rob not one but two convenience stores.
Needless to say he didn't rob them of condoms. [1]

In May 2009 they had a collective orgasm when a new star trek movie was released.
