The Tamil Tigers are a baseball team from Tamil Eelam, Sri Lanka. Currently, the government of Sri Lanka does not like them very much. This is possibly because the St. Louis Cardinals won the 2006 World Series (eat it, Stewart!) and the Tamil Tigers did not. The Tigers also lost in 1958 to their big rivals, the Black Panthers. In fact, the Tamil Tigers have never won the World Series, and they probably never will.
