If we have "reader reviews" for any other of the books in Stephen's Book Club, I hope we might consider using the "5 Ball Scale" that I mentioned in my befuddled review of Wigfield (I was trying to review in the spirit of the book). I see this as something akin to Amazon's "star" rating system, but my gut feels that anything in Stephen's Book Club should be rated in terms of Balls rather than "Stars." My gut also feels that there's something instinctively truthy about an odd number of what should be "paired" body parts - it's like "15 Boobs". Maybe my gut is on its own on this one, though - especially at the point of giving something "4 1/2 Balls" (that might not be a metaphor that the male members of a rating public could support? I think it's funny, but I'm a bit more...distant). Anyway, just a thought. Oh, and I know Esteban has only just started it, but so far The Rampaging Colbert seems headed for "5 Balls" from me!! --thisniss 13:10, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

I like the "Ball" system. I believe it should also include "bears" for negative votes.--WatchTVEatDonutDrinkBeer 17:20, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Yes!!! That's perfect. Books like Al Franken's could get -27 Bears or something. --thisniss 17:31, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
I like it! I can make a template for that when I get a chance. --Esteban Colberto 17:49, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

What about Watership Down? Isn't that on his bookshelf?
