Apparently she received a call from Stephen Hawking a couple of days before her appearance on The Report. The call was actually from Stephen Colbert himself, who called to talk to Paulina during the April 16 2007 show, got voice mail, and in a panic, pretended to be Stephen Hawking calling to tell her about "atoms and outer space."
Stephen confirmed he has a cold.
