Of Mice and Men is a classic piece of American literature. It was written by Strom Thurmond under the pseudonym "John Steinbeck". It is about a hobo and his retarded friend Lenny, and their quest to have a farm with rabbits on it whose skulls Lenny could crush. During the course of the story, Lenny punches a guy in the face, kills a puppy, and murders a screaming woman. The story ends with the hobo shooting him in the back of the head. Ultimately, the moral is that retarded people are a menace to society and should be interned in concentration camps or Gitmo.

The title of the book is a shortened, catchier version of Thurmond's original working title, Of Mice and the Men Who Want to Crush Their Skulls.
