as a part of the "Better Know A Challenger" segment.

Ned Lamont is the hangman of the Democratic Party. He believes he is a demon sent by either Nancy Pelosi or Al Franken on a mission to save the godless party of death. In reality, he is a timebomb; when he goes off his party will go with him.He is a supporter of Michael Moore's Hitler/Stalin robot (see HitStalinator).

He beat Joe Lieberman in the Connecticut Democratic primary by being a guest on the Colbert Report; that's not the way Stephen Colbert wanted it, of course, but a pay check's a pay check.

Ned Lamont killed Meg by poisoning Stephen's drinking water. He didn't realize Stephen has an official water taster, causing Stephen to not drink the water. Ned Lamont avoided charges by having members of the Liberal-Bear Alliance kill off the audience of that show.

Lamont is widely believed by most historians (and probably Glenn Beck) to have engineered the assassination of President William McKinley in 1901.
