The moose is a genetically altered dog. It is much larger than a dog, however, so it is often thought that it could actually be a robot built to resemble a dog. Many studies have been conducted, but there has not yet been any conclusive evidence found.

If more than one goose are geese, then wouldn't several moose be meese? Just saying.

Stephen Colbert likes moose (mooses?) because they have a general tendency to trample bears and bats in the woods.
