Left behind (adjective)

  1. is what happens to people who can't keep up
    1. either from being too physically slow or from being wounded or captured in battle. (See Vietnam)
    2. or, from being too spiritually slow and are Left Behind when The Rapture occurs and Jesus takes all naked Christians to Heaven with Him.
