Can biotech help his hairline?
Lee Silver is an author, professor and molecular biologist.

He was Stephen's guest on the July 17, 2006 edition of The Colbert Report.

[edit] The Nailing

Just to be clear, simply because Silver is a professor of molecular biology, that doesn't mean he knows more than Stephen does about genetic engineering.

Silver believes that cloning and gene splicing are the wave of the future. Stephen agreed, because biotech is huge area of potential growth for his portfolio.

Silver claims that the United States is lagging behind Singapore and China in biotech advancements because the Asians are unafraid to kill blastocysts.

Silver also made the far-fetched argument that if you sneeze into a petri dish full of embryos and then breathe in, you're a cannibal. Huh?
