Mr. Phillips confuses the fact that God speaks to George W. Bush with the idea of Bush speaking for God.

Mr. Phillips further believes that the God who speaks to Bush and Pat Robertson is actually an atheist conspiracy pretending to be Him, because if the real God is "speaking to those two guys you have to wonder."
