The Katrina Commission convened less than 24 hours after the landfall of Hurricane Katrina to begin putting together suggestions for reform in DHS handling of disaster management. The findings of the Commission were released in the captivating Katrina Report, which served as the basis for Disney's mini series documentary The Path To 8-29: Swimming To Houston.
