What is HFCS?Edit

High-fructose corn syrup is a common sweetener and preservative

How is HFCS Made?Edit

High-fructose corn syrup is made by changing the sugar (glucose) in cornstarch to fructose. The corn comes from two trillion un-edible corn plants in the state of Iowa. Farmers use the left fuckover "nasty corn" then make it into corn syrup. Next, chemists process the corn syrup to make it a high level of fructose.

How Does The Body Utilize HFCS?Edit

The human bodies liver can process regular "fructose" (like from fruit) However, the liver cannot process such a HIGH concentrated level of "fructose". Therefore, instead of the fructose getting burned off, it gets stored as fat. Thus "Fatty Liver" High Fructose Corn Syrup also contributes to heart disease, diabetes, obesity, increased risk of heart attack, stroke, cancer, and autism. In addition, high fructose corn syrup contains detectable amounts of mercury.

What Foods Contain HFCS?Edit

Most processed food and beverages. Soda, juice, tea, ketchup, bbq sauce, most sauce, cereal, bread, baked goods, bagels and more.
