A phrase that has been bandied about the White House with increasing frequency in the Obama administration. It generally is taken to mean a search for more biodegradable options for things like coffee cups. If one thinks about it, however, Eco-Friendly really means not throwing things in the garbage in the first place.

Apparently, the Obama White House is suffering from just as large a smart-vaccuum as the Bush administration. Obviously, the friendliest coffee cups and water glasses for the environment are made of ceramic or glass, and biodegradability isn't an issue - they're reusable! They pay for themselves in less than 10 uses. White House spokespeople have no comment on the question of whether water at the historic building is so contaminated that a good wash won't clean a mug. This, along with the Bear Market can be taken as further evidence of Bear mind-control in the administration. A committee has been instituted to investigate how best to avoid commonsense solutions to problems like this.

In other news, the EPA is looking for a way to harness all of the combustible gas floating around between the ears of the staff members who were incapable of thinking this one through.
