Cornholy is an adjective used by cornholists to designate someone who has attained wisdom in cornholism. The word designates someone who is worthy of being cornholed, or leading the nation of cornholistry. The use of the term is perhaps only warranted when speaking of Stephen Colbert. If not of Colbert, then perhaps Joseph Smith, Glenn Beck, Mitt Romney, Sean Hannity or Pat Robertson. Rush Limbaugh is believed by some cornholists to have achieved wisdom in cornholism. Jesus is believed to have been American but pre-cornholy.
