Benito Mussolini was one of the three members of the original 1940's supergroup The Axis, along with Adolf Hitler of Germany and Prime Minister Tojo of Japan.

Known as Il Duce, Italian for 'The Fat One,' Mussolini teamed up with Hitler and Tojo for a comedy/musical act called World War II, which caused untold misery to audiences worldwide.
